Summary:
Hong Kong University Alumni Association (HKUAA) Green and Culture Group is organizing a guided tour to HKFYG Organic Farm to offer the genuine experience of organic farming in Hong Kong with a guided farm tour and simple field practice. February is the perfect time for you to farm under the natural environment of Ho Pui. With the prohibited zone permit, our tour is well-designed to avoid exhausting hiking to reach the farm uphill and save your energy for field exercises.
One more thing that you should not miss in our tour is to reap in joy the freshly harvested local organic strawberries and crops in the farm during the prodigious abundance of strawberry harvest of the year. You will enjoy picking organic strawberries and buying them home to share the sweetness with your family and friends.
The joyful outing will end with a short and pleasant 15-min walk in the nearby Ho Pui Reservoir (河背水塘), which was once voted as one of the top ten scenic sites in Hong Kong by local hikers.
Please prepare a your own shopping bag to bring home the harvested strawberries and other organic crops.
Welcome to bring your family and friends to join.
