Price:              HKD 3,200

Price includes 2 x 18-hole green fees, cart & caddies, shared hotel room, transportation Huang Gang/Di Yin Lake and 4 meals.

Single-room supplement plus HKD 300

1. Competition Format

(a)   Intervarsity Game: Four Ball Better Ball Match Play (To be confirmed)

• Each university has to send 24-36 players to compete.
• The captains shall divide the players into Divisions A, B and C. Teams of two players each shall be formed and assigned into each Divisions.
• Each team will compete for three points; one point each for Front Nine, Back Nine and Overall.
• The university with the higher score will be the winner.
• Detail scoring scheme will be confirmed in a later stage.

(b)  Divisional Team Champion (Day 1 & Day 2)

• For each division (A, B & C), the team with the lowest score will be the champion.

     2. Tee (To be confirmed)

• Men in Division A shall play at Blue Tee while ladies in Division A shall play at White Tee.
• Men and ladies in other Divisionsshall play at White Tee and Red Tee respectively.

    3. Prizes:

The following prizes will be awarded: -

• Team Champion (Intervarsity Game)
• Team Runner Up (Intervarsity Game)
• Divisional Team Champion (Divisions A, B & C, Day 1 & Day 2)
• Longest Drive (Men & Ladies)
• Par 3 Closest to the Pin (x2)
• Par 4 2nd-shot Closest to the Pin
• Par 5 3rd-shot Closest to the Pin
• Lucky Draw

      4. Tentative Schedule

Day 1: Sunday 13 October 2013

08:30               Bus departs from Huang Gang

10:30               Registration at Di Yin Lake

11:30               Opening Ceremony

12:00               Competition starts (Shot-gun start)

18:00               Dinner at DY Lake Club House

20:00               Depart from DY Lake to Hotel

Day 2: Monday 14 October 2013

07:00               Check Out and Breakfast

08:00               Depart from Hotel to DY Lake

09:00               Competition starts (Shot-gun start)

14:30               Lunch and Prize Presentation

15:30               Departing to Huang Gang

 5. Registration

For registration, please submit the registration form to hkugolf@gmail.com with copy to maywong@hkuaa.org.hk.

        6. Remarks:

• The event will be postponed if the Rainstorm Black Signal or Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted at 06:00 on that day.
• The HKU Golf Team will not provide insurance for the participants of this event. Participants should arrange for their own insurance policies.
