CHRISTMAS  SEASON

Dear alumni member,

Our popular HKUAA CHOIR is now open for membership for the Christmas Season. Come join in the fun of choral singing with performance venues as diverse as can be, from in-house concert and shopping malls to a Festival event! 

Dr. Michael Ryan continues to be our Music Director and Mr. Eric Wong our Assistant Music Director.

REPERTOIRE includes Handel's Messiah for choral singing (in part only); and selections from "100 Carols for Choirs".
 

Rehearsal details:

First Rehearsal -  Sept 13, 2014  Saturday

       AUDITION for new applicants, the placement of which will be at the discretion of Dr. Ryan.  A Letter of Confirmation will be sent to each applicant once membership has been secured that entails immediate payment of the subscription fee; otherwise NO placement will be reserved for those without payment.  Moreover, there are very limited vacancies in each section of the choir since returning choir members are many.

Rehearsal Weeks:

ALL SATURDAYS

SEPT  13, 20, 27

OCT  4, 11, 18, 25

NOV    1, 8, 15, 22, 29

DEC    6, 13

Total 14 rehearsal weeks including Dec 13.

Performances tentatively held on :

First performance Dec 7  Sunday at a very special place!  Will disclose later when confirmed of venue!

Second performance Dec 13  Saturday LUNCHTIME at HKUAA Clubhouse.

Other performance venues may include St. John's Cathedral and shopping malls.

Subscription :  $980 per choir member

Deadline of application :  Aug 30, 2014.

PAYMENT AFTER AUDITION & UPON RECEIPT OF CONFIRMATION LETTER FROM THE CONVENOR OF HKUAA CHOIR.

REFUND POLICY :

The first THREE rehearsal weeks will be the time allowed for a full refund of the season's subscription fee upon a WRITTEN request.  Beyond this time limit, NO REFUND in full or in part will be made.
