Being an oasis situated strategically on the ancient Silk Road, Dunhuang had for centuries been a meeting point of East and West, much like Hong Kong today. Dunhuang's Mogao Caves were designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987, for being a breathtaking testimony to human creativity and cultural exchanges. It is a treasure house of art and culture. In recent years, Dunhuang has become a very hot tourist destination. But what makes this desert jewel so irresistible? Join us as we unveil its secrets and explore the treasures that have attracted world attention.
