| Events HKUAA Golf Day This event was well attended with a total of 64 participants turned up. Out of which 29 playing for Competition and the rest 35 playing for leisure. For inter-alumni bodies teem competition, one team (two players) for Ricci 67, one for Science Society. The host body (HKUAA) sent out 3 teams. There were also 3 teams from both S.J.C. and U.G.A. Gabriel Hui (from UGA) scored 40 stableford points with a gross score of 90 won the Challenge Cup. The winner for inter alumni-bodies is Kenneth Choi teemed by Dennis Tang. Kenneth Choi also won the longest drive award whereas the trophy for nearest-to-pin is taken by Alexander Ho from HKUAA. After the prize presentation, a lucky-draw was held to determine who were the lucky one to be awarded with the good prizes (totally 26 items) sponsored by MacGregor Hong Kong and golf balls (ten packets) from HKUDAAO. The organizing committee must take this opportunity to say thank you to the following persons and sponsors because without their support, this event will not be so successful. Firstly, Dr. George Choa, our Honorary Vice-President, who has arranged this special term with HK Golf Club ($700 green fee for non-golf club member, against a normal walk-in-price of $1,100) for us to hold this event and has kindly donated us the Challenge Cup to be prize for the individual winner! Secondly, Dr. Lawrence Hou, who has donated the golf ball holder with two balls as souvenir for each participant. Miss Anny Lau of Micromuse for the beautiful T-shirts for each participant. HKUDAAO for the packets of golf balls and last but not least MacGregor Hong Kong who has sponsored us with 26 items of good prizes, namely golf wedges, putters, iron covers, umbrellas and wallets for the lucky-draw.
