Summary:

HKUAA Green and Culture Group is organizing an eco-tour to watch the precious endangered Chinese White Dolphins (Sousa chinensis chinensi 中華白海豚) on board a western style cruiser. The tour will be guided by an experienced captain and dolphin experts who have accompanied more than 20,000 people to see dolphins. Participants will have a chance to catch precious moments of dolphins appearing above the water, and enjoy a detailed presentation on the conservation status of dolphins. It will be an exciting, educational and meaningful eco-tour.

Special Notes:

  1. Due to the natural movement of dolphins, there is a possibility of not being able to see them. From the captain's previous experience, he reckoned that the chance of seeing dolphins is over 97%. If all our participants cannot see dolphins in this trip, each will be entitled to an one-time trip organized by Hong Kong Dolphinwatch with 30% discount off.
  2. We will provide contact numbers of our committee members for successful applicants before the event date.
  3. If typhoon signal no. 3 or above is hoisted or black rainstorm signal is hoisted at or after 12:00nn of June 26, 2010, the trip will be rescheduled to a later time upon notification.
