Summary:

Art Appreciation shows your taste and intelligence. When a price of works by Zhang Daqian (張大千) or apparently a piece of paper can range from 50 thousands to more than 100 million Hong Kong dollars, alike wine tasting, definitely we should learn how to appreciate it and understand the reason behind. Tired of dry conversation about your routine works only? Puzzling in how to appreciate paintings in exhibitions? Want to know more about Chinese arts?

This afternoon art appreciation workshop features Modern Chinese ink paintings, and follow by a cocktail reception. We will introduce some essential elements of Chinese painting and tips of art appreciation in an interactive approach, starting from the focus of modern Chinese paintings, to the growing trend of current arts market. The cocktail networking session afterward can enable you discussing with the speaker in a pleasurable mood.
