| Events THE HKUAA CHALLENGE CUP 今日的獎盃賽事為 TODAY’S CUP RACE IS 香港大學校友會挑戰盃 THE HKUAA CHALLENGE CUP 本港賽馬於一九七一年三月轉為職業化。 當時，香港數家著名會社應本會董事局邀請送出獎盃, 其中一家即為香港大學校友會。 第一屆香港大學校友會盃賽於一九七一年三月二十七日 在跑馬地馬場舉行，此後即成為每年一度的賽事。 香港大學校友會副會長謝錫恩先生的夫人， 將於此項賽事結束後隨即將獎盃及小型獎盃頒發予勝出頭馬的馬主。 Racing in Hong Kong turned professional in March 1971. At that time, a number of prominent Clubs in Hong Kong were invited by the Stewards of the Club to donate a Trophy. Among them was the Hong Kong University Alumni Association who presented a Trophy that is competed for annually. The inaugural running of this Cup race was held on 27 March 1971 at Happy Valley.Mrs Tse Sik Yan, wife of a Vice-President of the Hong Kong University Alumni Association, will present the Trophy and a miniature to the winning Owner immediately after the race.
