Dear alumni and member, 

Lights, Camera, Sing!

The HKUAA Choir cordially invites members to lend their voices for our Spring Season 2024, where the silver screen comes to life through song. Dive into the world of cinematic wonders as we perform an array of classic movie theme songs.

Performance Details

Host: HKUAA Choir

Repertoire: Movie Theme Songs

Performance Date: April 28, 2024 Sunday

Matinee Show Time (practice plus performance): 3:00-6:00 pm

Venue: China Congregational Church, CCC 6th Floor Concert Theater

Rehearsals Journey  (practice time 1.5 hour, 3:00-4:30 pm)

Total Rehearsals: 10

Kick-Off Rehearsal & Audition for Newcomers: February 17, 2024 Saturday

April 6, 13, 20, 27

Rehearsal Venue: HKUAA Clubhouse, 1st Floor Yip Fung Building 2D’ Aguilar St, Central

Membership and Fees

Subscription Fee: $900 per person

Exclusive Discount: 50% off for HKU 1st degree holders from 2018 onwards.

Event Arrangements:

We are excited to announce an upcoming performance event that will involve all members and also provide an opportunity for participants to showcase their talents in smaller ensemble groups. 

1. Each participant is expected to join the full choral performance with songs from great movies selected by music director. 

2. Each participant has the option to form their own ensemble group i.e. duet, trio, quartet etc. Each group will select one movie theme song for performance. 

3. Acappella group “FlashTrack” will be a guest performer.
