Known for thousands of years as Persia, the country was renamed Iran only in 1935. Rich in oil and gas, Iran is home to one of the world’s oldest civilisation as well as the world’s first super power although it did suffer occupation later on respectively by the Greek, Seljuk, Mogul and Arabs. The conversion from Zoroastrianism to Islam also made it deeply religious. As such, the country has an extremely rich and colourful history with plenty of magnificent and beautiful relics from palaces to mosques to the famous “Persia-gardens”. These are complemented by very diversified and scenic geographical landscape, thus making the country very attractive to visit.

‧        Fellow Chartered Institute of Transport and Logistics

‧        Fellow Chartered Institute of Shipbrokers

‧        Lecturing Logistics as Adjunct Associate Professor at CUHK and Professor of Practice at PolyU.

‧        Visited over 100 countries including Antarctica, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Madagascar, Namibia, Botswana, Ethiopia, Iceland, Mexico, Galapagos, Mauritius, Easter Island, Chile, Ecuador, Canary Island, Azores Island plus many places in China such as Inner Mongolia and Qinghai. Acted as organiser and tour leader in many trips.

‧        Give talks regularly to members of the HK Geological Society and HK Mineralogy Society.
