| Events HKUAA Chritmas Caroling - Member Recruitment  CHRISTMAS CAROLING
HKUAA Choir is happy to announce the commencement of the 2022 Fall Season! The theme essentially will be to celebrate the Christmas festive season. We are also happy to announce that Dr. Lesley Chan and Ms. Florence Ng will be our music director and accompanist respectively. This season also introduces the collaboration with Pro-Musica Choir, the detailed arrangements will be subject to Dr. Chan's finalization of our Christmas repertoire.
AUDITION ARRANGEMENT:
Date: September 17, 2022 15:00 to 16:30 ( subject to time adjustments)
Audition requirements for all applicants: Dr. Chan requires each applicant to prepare a song of your own choice together with its music score the duration of which is 2 minutes.
Successful applicants will receive a Welcome Letter from the convenor on or before October 3, 2022. Upon receipt of this letter please prepare a cheque payable to HKUAA and present the cheque at our first rehearsal on October 8.
REHEARSAL SCHEDULE:
Saturdays 15:00 to 16:30 ( No Break ) from Oct 8 to Dec 10, 2022
October: 8, 15, 22, 29 November: . 5, 12, 19, 26 December: 3, 10 (last rehearsal)
ADDITIONAL PRACTICES WITH PRO-MUSICA CHOIR WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER

HKUAA Clubhouse, 1/F Yip Fung Building, 2 D'Aguilar Street, Central
PERFORMANCES:
Date: December 17, 2022 Saturday 19:00 to 22:00
Venue: Concert Theater 6/Floor Chinese Congregational Church (CCC) at Leighton Road Causeway Bay.
CDMF PERFORMANCES:
Ever since the Christmas of 2012 HKUAA Choir has been a staunch supporter of this charitable organization " Children's Development Matching Fund " ; in this connection our choir will continue to give support to CDMF coming Christmas. However CDMF performance venue and date/time are subject to confirmation from the organizer.
SUBSCRIPTION FEE: HKD 900 per person ( HKU first degree holders from 2017 onwards will enjoy a 50% discount ).
MUSIC BOOK: 100 CAROLS FOR CHOIRS ( members who do not have this music book please inform your section leaders ).
