Summary:

HKUAA is delighted to organize a guided tour for the exhibition "Eternity in Transience", a group exhibition on floral and still-lifes, at Kwai Fung Salone, Tai Kwun. Anchored by a 1930s masterpiece by Sanyu, the exhibition juxtaposed 17th-century Flemish painter Wouter Mertens’ work with nearly twenty modern and contemporary paintings. The exhibition divulges how still-lifes condense the essence of eras and evolution of artistic thought. More than a depiction of objects, still life embodies the emotional depth, cultural exchanges, and the creative odyssey of mankind.
