| News Earth Hour 2012 by HKUAA Green and Culture Group
Hong Kong University Alumni Association (HKUAA) will participate in the coming "Earth Hour 2012" to support a greener, healthier and better world. WWF's "Earth Hour 2012" is a symbolic pledge to take ongoing and sustainable actions for the year ahead. To show our support of this program, we plan to take the following actions: 1. Turn off the billboards at the HKUAA Clubhouse for one hour on Saturday 31 March 2012 at 8:30pm. 2. Communicate Earth Hour to our members, and encourage them to take part in the program and be committed to sustainable living. 3. Convey Earth Hour messages to HKUAA members and display its information in the HKUAA Clubhouse. 4. Include a hyperlink to the Earth Hour website and host an Earth Hour web banner on HKUAA homepage. (*Note: All HKU Alumni and Students are eligible to join, but you NEED to fill in an online application form and submit it for approval by HKUAA. Membership is NOT granted automatically upon graduation.) |
