Summary:

Longed for an outing to one of the most valuable wetlands in Hong Kong? Long Valley is the largest and the most intact piece of agricultural freshwater wetland in Hong Kong. Touring in Long Valley, you can enjoy the special rural scenic views of farmlands, paddy fields and lotus ponds, or even migration birds if luck strikes. You will also have the chance to visit different historical buildings around Long Valley, such as the Hakka Village, which is one of the best preserved Walled village in Hong Kong, and declared monument - Hau Ku Shek Ancestral Hall.

The tour will be led by local residents who have witnessed the changes of Long Valley over the years and who are familiar with the customs. With the tour guides’ accumulated daily experiences in the area and rich collection of childhood memories in Long Valley, participants would be able to benefit from their detailed and fruitful explanations. This valuable experience no doubt is one that you cannot possibly miss!
