Summary:
Christie's, the world's leading art business, has been conducting global auctions around the world since the 18th century, with two auctions in Hong Kong annually and prices range from $200 to over $80 million. Christie's, which has offices in 32 countries and salesrooms in major cities around the world, will be organizing its Hong Kong Autumn Auctions 2013 at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 21 Nov to 27 Nov 2013.
Our exclusive guided tour will lead you to appreciate valuable Asian 20th Century and contemporary art and fine modern Chinese paintings, which will be auctioned this time. Mr. Marcello Kwan, an associate specialist in Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, together with Ms. Sara Mao, an associate specialist in Modern Chinese Paintings, will illustrate in details a few avant-garde artwork to you. They will shed light on masterpieces by ZengFanzhi (曾梵志), Zhou Chunya (周春芽), San Yu (常玉), Makoto Aida (會田誠), Zhang Daqian (張大千) and Qi Baishi (齊白石). This is the first time we illustrate two generations of art work by Christie's experts, which you can compare and appreciate the characteristics and differences.
After the guided tour, you are welcome to stay behind to attend the public viewing until 6:00 p.m. to have a glimpse of a spectacular array of rare and exceptional collecting treasures ranging from Chinese paintings, ceramics and works of art, to iconic works by modern masters and cutting-edge contemporary artists throughout Asia, as well as fine wine, magnificent jewellery and important watches.
