Cooking Workshop by Alex LING 凌璣 (筆名:小凌) on Saturday 20 May, 12h-14h30

 

Passionate about cooking, Alex started his career as a cook after he studied engineering at HKU.  After solid experience in US and Hong Kong at different kitchens, Alex founded Cookology in 2013 for culinary arts.  He teaches at City’Super and conducts cooking demonstrations for TVB, Apple Daily, Sing Tao Daily, am730 and Yahoo!  He is the author of many Jolly Kitchen Series cookbooks, including 自家製星級西餐、自家製星級西餐2、自家製星級居酒屋、自家製焗出滋味2、自家製自煮時代。1人份、自家製得意巧手小餅乾、自家製星級牛滋味etc.  He is featured by Sing Tao Cookbook Series on Italian and Japanese cuisine (異國風情日式小食01、異國風情意式小食02)

Fee: $550 (special fee for HKUAA members, standard fee $580) PLUS a cookbook by Alex as FREE gift

 

Menu E* : French Onion Soup, Mint Crust Baked French-Cut Lamb Rack and Classic Creme Brûlée 

 

Menu F* : Cream Mushroom Vol Au Vent, Duck Breast à l'Orange and Red Wine Poached Pear

*Minimum 6 participants are required for each menu.  In case of insufficient participants for BOTH menu, the preference of the majority shall prevail.

 

Participants are welcomed to communicate their areas of interest by email (kitty.tsekitling@gmail.com) in advance.  Enquiries shall be addressed on event day.

1. Please complete the form in below with payment and email to Ms. Natalie Wong at natalie.wong@hkuaa.hk ON or BEFORE 12th May, 2017.  If you enroll together with your friend(s), please copy the form twice and complete it for your friend(s) as well.

2. After filling out the form, please pay by DEPOSIT to our HSBC account: Hong Kong University Alumni Association 848-307666-838 as soon as possible.

3. Send us your SCANNED RECEIPT at natalie.wong@hkuaa.hk with your FULL NAME. Kindly note that places will only be reserved for members who have paid on or before 12th May, 2017 and send us the email.

4. A confirmation email will be sent after we have confirmed your payment.

Deadline of reservation: 12th May, 2017 (Friday).  Once confirmed, no refund on cancellation of your registration within 7 days before the class.
