| News HKUAA CHOIR Recruitment Circular 2021  Dear Alumni Members,
LET’S BEGIN AGAIN!
After a year and a half of absence, because of COVID-19, HKUAA choir will start again with selections from a variety of songs the choir has done before, all of which have been choral favorites to our choir as well as our audiences in the past eight years since the choir's formation! And of course, there will be a couple of new songs to lift our spirits too!
Dr. Michael Ryan continues to be our music director and leader in our pursuit of perfection in choral singing and performance. Details of the Fall season are listed below:
Selections from Mozart's requiem: Handel's Messiah; Encore for Choirs; Phantom of the Opera.
Details of Rehearsal Schedule - Saturdays at HKUAA Clubhouse from 3:30 - 5:00pm (1.5 hours duration with NO BREAK)
Performance date: November 28th, Sunday. Matinee Show 4-6pm at Chinese Congregational Church (CCC). Free admission.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Subscription Fee: HKD $1,080.00 (First degree HKU graduates who graduated from 2016 onwards are offered a 50% discount on subscription fee.)
HKUAA will order song books on behalf of choir members and the amount of payment will be ascertained later.

Those accepted will receive a welcome letter from the convenor early September. Please pay by personal cheque to HKUAA on September 11th, our first rehearsal.
Your cheque should be paid to "HKUAA". Deadline of Application: August 28th, 2021.
