HKU Alumni Association was awarded the "Silver Prize" the Web Care Award.  The Presentation Ceremony was held on October 22, 2005 (Sat) and Mr. Alex C H LAI, Hon. Secretary received the Award on behalf of our Association.

The Web Care Campaign, initiated by iProA and supported by some 50 organizations, aims to promote a barrier free Internet environment and provide the needy communities with equal opportunities in sharing the benefits brought about by the development of Internet in Hong Kong.  Web Care Award is a signature event of the Campaign which awards companies and organizations in recognition of their efforts in providing barrier-free Internet services.  For details, please refer to the following website:
