Dear members,

The HKUAA Golf Interest Group would like to wish you a happy and prosperous 2015!

We have two pieces of good news regarding our members: -

1. Mr. Dennis Chan and Mr. Ian Chung got the Champion and 1st Runner Up of the Net Matchplay Championship 2014 of Mission Hills Golf Club. Dennis and Ian were level after 18 holes and Dennis managed to capture the title in the play off.  What a close fight between the two!

2. Mr. Andy Lui got the 1st Runner-up of the Chung Shan Hot Spring Golf Club 30th Anniversary Members Day Tournament (Pro-Am) Division 1.

Let's give a big hand to them!

Our season for 2015 begins with a match against the Public Works Department Golfing Society at the Hong Kong Golf Club on 11 Feb 2015 .

Date: 11 Feb 2015 (Wed)
Time: 7:15 - 8:40 approx.
Venue: Hong Kong Golf Club
Format: Four Ball Better Ball (20 players from each side) 
Cost: HK$1,500 (including lunch, excluding cart, caddy), HK$1,600 for non-member

Please inform the captain, Mr. P W LAM at poonwah_lam@yahoo.com before 20 Jan if you would like to join the competition. Spaces are limited, please register early to secure a place.

In order to provide members more opportunities to play under competition environment, we intend to organize practice sessions at individual golf clubs.  The 1st practice session will be held on 1 Feb (Sun) at Mission Hills Golf Club and Chung Shan Hot Spring Golf Club respectively. If you are interested to join, please provide your membership number, golf bags number, handicap, etc. to the following coordinators before 20 Jan 2015: -

Please understand that it is quite difficult to reserve tee times in Mission Hills Golf Club these days, while we will try our best to make the reservation and inform you of the outcome asap.
