As I informed you before the New Year,  we have now secured 3 cases of the incredible 2011 Margret River MadFish 'Gold Turtle' Shiraz for members' subscription.  This wine has a 95 point score from James Halliday, the famous Australian wine critic who writes for Wine Spectator among other publications.  I normally have a slight bias on Halliday as he usually gives high marks for Ausie wines.  But this time the Shiraz in question is exceptionally good, even if one takes off one or two points from his score it is still a fair assessment.  It is very fruity and full-bodied with a high tannin.   And it does not have the usual 'soil taste' associated with Shiraze. For $130 a bottle, you are welcome to buy this wine from the bar, with max two bottles to each member.  So sign up now to secure your bottle !  If you like this wine and want to buy more than 6 bottles, I will give you the contact and you will pay less for each bottle even with home delivery.
